How do I send an e-hollah?  

1. First choose the type of hollah you want to send from the category list on the e-hollah page, such as anniversary.

2. Next select an image that you like along with a heading that will appear above the image.

3. Then select a verse that you like.

4. Finally type in a personal message and the email address information, then click continue. A full preview of your e-hollah will appear.

5. Now you can click "send" and have your e-hollah sent immediately. e-hollahs are usually delivered at the "speed of email." 

During peak periods, e-hollahs may take several hours to be processed and sent. 

How do I view my e-hollah?
When somebody sends you an e-hollah, you will receive an email notifying you of this fact. The email will contain a Web address (URL) that you can click on and, on most email programs, be taken to your Web browser and e-hollah. In some cases, you'll need to copy and paste the entire Web address into your Web browser. Your e-hollah will be accessible at that Web address for 20 days.

How do I view animation?
You will need the latest version of Shockwave or Flash (free download)
A button under your e-hollah postcard will tell you which; it will either say Get Shockwave or Get Flash. All you have to do is click on that button and follow the simple directions. It's that easy. If you have problems, check out Viewing Animations.

What are e-hollahs?

e-hollahs are all about expressing yourself and sharing thoughts with your friends and family. e-hollahs also enable aspiring artists, poets and other talented individuals get the word out about the works.  You create the hollah by selecting images and words that fit the occasion. We notify the recipient,  and generate the web page where the recipient can view the hollah.  All e-hollahs are free. The cost is picked up by our wonderful sponsors.

What are the differences between static hollahs and animated hollahs?

Some e-hollahs are static images, similar to a real-life card. These are typically viewable by  your standard browser. Viewing animated e-hollahs require either Shockwave or Flash players that you can easily download from our site. Just click on Get Shockwave or Get Flash (free download)

Do I have to become a member to send hollahs? No! You don't have to be a member to send or receive e-hollahs, but membership is fast, free and easy and  has it's benefits, such as Hollah savings from Hollah Shops, VIP passes to Hollah events, participation in promotional giveaways and much more. Thanks to our sponsors, all these features are totally free to our members!  

Can't sign in?
The problem is probably your password. Our passwords are case sensitive, so please make sure you are entering your password exactly as you did the first time. If you can't remember, click I need a password.

Remember, our passwords are case sensitive; you'll need to enter them exactly as you did the first time. Still can't sign in? Click I need a password.

Signing in automatically
You can avoid signing in every time you send a hollah.  Select "change member info" on the Hollah Team page.  Then, simply check the box "auto login" and click "Submit". That's it.

To turn off automatic sign in, go to Hollah Team, select "change member info" and uncheck the box "auto login"  to disable it.

GENERAL NOTE:  You should not use automatic sign in if you're sharing a computer, such as at a library or cybercafe.

PRIVACY NOTE:  Automatic sign in will set a pointer in your ehollah cookie that points to your membership in our database and tells us to sign you in automatically. This doesn't save any private information on your computer. Who can get e-hollahs?
You can send a e-hollah to anyone with an email address and Internet (Web) access. Some recipients may need to download Shockwave or Flash (free download) players to view animated greetings, but it's easy to do.

How do I know if my e-hollah was received?  
Once your e-hollah is received, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from hollah.com.

Can I preview my e-hollah before sending it?
Yes. Just click the image and the item will preview in a pop-up window. If you don't like what you see, you can change your greeting as many times as you like. You must use Internet Explorer and Netscape 6.x to preview thumbnail images.

Can I send e-hollahs to more than one recipient? Yes.  Simply separate each recipient by a comma.

What's the quickest way to reply to an e-hollah?
Look for the 'send an e-hollah' link near the bottom of the viewing center page. This will take you to the e-hollah page.

Email problems

Why was my e-hollah returned to me?
Be sure you didn't make a mistake with the email address. Email addresses must have an "@" symbol and they do NOT begin with "http://" or "www." They should look as follows: name@someplace.com.

The email address is correct, but my e-hollah was still returned.
This might mean that your recipient is no longer using the email address you specified, or it could mean the machine that handled your recipient's mail might have been busy or out of service.
